5.2. Static Analysis

Static Analysis runs an analysis that seeks to find the equilibrium state of the system. If there is no equilibrium state, this procedure does not result in a solution. A static analysis solves only for the displacement and static loads. The velocity and acceleration are assumed to be zero.
