10.2.2. NX/NASTRAN Interface

NX/Nastran can directly generate an RFI file with Stress/Strain shapes. For more information about generating the *.rfi file by NX/Nastran, refer to DMAP Command.

In the case of Normal mode analysis (Modal analysis), NX/Nastran can generate an RFI using the method of MSC/Nastran.

Only following elements are supported in RecurDyn/RFlex.

NX/NASTRAN Element Library

The supported element list is same to MSC/NASTRAN except the CBEND element. Please refer to MSC/NASTRAN Element Library.

Note

An RFI file made by NX/Nastran cannot use the function of generating stress/strain shapes in Stress Shape Interface because the RFI file does not have elements and material information.
