3.1. Clipboard

RecurDyn Clipboard stores the entity information that the user copies or cuts from Working Window or Database Window, and it lets the user paste the stored items into any other RecurDyn model.

Copy

The Copy makes a copy of the set of selected entities and places them into a temporary buffer.

• Only selected Joint or Force entities without the base body and action body cannot be copied. To copy a Joint or Force, the user must select both the base and action bodies together.

Paste

The Paste pastes the set of selected entities in the temporary buffer stored by Copy or Cut into Working Window. The name of a copied entity is defined as C_OriginalName.

Cut

The Cut removes the set of selected entities and places them into a temporary buffer.

Delete

The Delete helps to delete the set of selected entities.

Copy Image

The Copy Image makes a copy of the image of the working window and saves it into a temporary buffer.
