11.1.1. Background for changing a body type

In order to make suitable model by using G-Manager, to begin with, it is important to understand the characteristics of three body type. (Rigid, RFlex, FFlex)
FFlex body is suited for Non-Linear or large deformation model. And when a contact attaches to FFlex body, this body type is suited for movable contact point or load point. On the other hand, RFlex body is useful for linear or small deformation model. There is a limit to fixed contact and load point for contact. Usually, RFlex body is suited for larger FEM model than FFlex model.

Rigid body express body behavior without deformation, and rigid has cad data from cad kernel. Whereas, RFlex and FFlex have node, element, Property, material and mode shape to express body behavior with deformation.
Therefore, Only Flexible body show contour result like as deformation, strain and stress.
But, these three bodies have common characteristics.
Basically, because rigid, RFlex and FFlex are body, these have mass, center of mass, inertia to express body behavior. And to attach joint, force, these have marker.
FFlex body use element formulation to express flexibility of body, and RFlex body use mode shape to express deformation of body.
