  • Though two non-adjacent links are selected, a closed loop track assembly named “TrackAssembly1” is changed to one assembly with two links removed named “TrackAssembly2”.

  • When the user uses the link converter function, RecurDyn recommends changing the algorithm of contact search to the Full Search algorithm at the properties page of the sprocket, the flange (roller) and the link guide. Because the partial search algorithm is proper for the closed-loop track assembly. Figure 28.58 shows the location of options for the algorithm of contact search.

  • If the user wants to use the Convertor function, the CAD link geometry should be one in the body. Because the Convertor function deletes other geometries except the first geometry. Also, the link geometry should be one in the body when using the mesh function for the flexible Link. If user wants to make a united geometry using RecurDyn, refer to Unite.
