RecurDyn/R2R2D automates the generation of relevant outputs for a roll to roll system, saving the user valuable time converting the general outputs into data needed to design or analyze his system. The following table summarizes the custom outputs for RecurDyn/R2R2D.

Beam Assembly

Pos_

Position and Z-X-Z euler angles of the specified assembly (web).

Vel_

Velocity of the specified assembly (web). The translational velocity is measured in the global reference frame. The angular velocity is measured in the reference frame of workpiece (or nodal).

Acc_

Acceleration of the specified assembly (web). The translational acceleration is measured in the global reference frame. The angular acceleration is measured in the reference frame of workpiece (or nodal).

_Contact

Contact forces generalized at a node. The force is measured in the reference frame of workpiece (or nodal).

Impulse

Impulse of contact forces (= |F|*dt)

Rev_Vel

The relative velocity is generated for contact force calculation between the segment node and Roller.

Mu

The friction coefficient is generated for contact force calculation between the segment node and Roller.

Tension

The tension is generated in each segment of the assembly (web)

_Elastic

Generalized elastic forces. This force is calculated from the element stiffness matrix and deformation of a node. The force is measured in the reference frame of segment (or nodal).

E X,EY,EZ,EXY,EYZ,EZY

Strain tensor. The tensor is measured in the global reference frame. For more information, refer to Post Process in FFlex.

EINT

Contact_WP

Contact forces between assembly (web) and a guide. Reference frame of the force vector is the inertia marker of the ground body. Acting point of the force is the reference marker of the guide surface.

Sensor

Speed Sensor

Velocity of the closest workpiece in the specified direction of the sensor.

Distance Sensor

Distance from the closest workpiece in the specified direction of the sensor to the center position of the sensor.

Slip Sensor

Speed difference between the closest workpiece in the sensor and the roller in the sensor.

Tension Sensor

Stress of the closest workpiece in the sensor.
