6.1.4.11. Hierarchy

When creating geometries in the body edit mode, a hierarchical structure is formed between curves, surfaces, and solids, so that when a lower geometry is modified, the upper geometry is updated. Hierarchies can be broken when the user wants to prevent the upper geometry from updating.

6.1.4.11.1. Break

It allows the user to break the hierarchy relations among the geometries. After the hierarchy relation is broken, if a lower geometry is modified, the upper geometry is not updated.

Modeling Option

  • MultiSolid(Sheet, Wire)

    • MultiSolid(Sheet, Wire): Selects curve, surface or solid geometries.

The hierarchy relations between the selected geometries and the connected geometries to them are broken.
