32.2.5.1. Modeling Options

  1. Click the Pin icon of the Crank group in the Crank tab. The user can see the Crank Component - PistonPin dialog box.

  2. The user can select the position where the piston pin is created in Component Index.

  3. Click OK.

32.2.5.2. Properties

Click the right mouse button on the piston pin body to choose Properties of piston pin. The user can modify the property of piston pin in the following dialog.

  • The user can make Clearance between bodies using the value in the red box.

  • Reference Parametric Marker: Controls the position of piston pin. It is also special parametric marker.

  • Length and Outer Diameter: Are also special parametric values.

    • The user can modify the parametric value in this page.

    • These values are enlisted in special parametric value list.

  • Inner Diameter: Is independent value which is not related with other entities.
