47.2.3. Using RecurDyn/Toolkit
For some following toolkits, the additional work necessaries.
47.2.3.1. RecurDyn/Control
RecurDyn Windows Solver supports RecurDyn Host Mode. Basically, *.rmd and *.rss files are required, and in addition, you can simulate it with control files used in UI.
47.2.3.2. RecurDyn/CoLink
To simulate a CoLink model, one file is required additionally.
The cll file contains the CoLink model data in an ascii (text) format. This file is created after simulation using the RecurDyn graphical user interface on a Windows-based computer. The information about this file is written to rmd file. You can find a block of data in the rmd file as shown below:
!== MODEL DATA FILE GENERATED BY RECURDYN MODELER==! !============ RECURDYN COLINK ===============! COLINK / , COLINKINFO = 100, 6, 0, 1, 0, 1, 1, 0 , MODEL_NAME = 'closeloop_delay.cll'
47.2.3.3. RecurDyn/External SPI
To run co-simulation with particle solver, the Configuration XML file must be in RecurDyn installation directory. Standalone Solver find the DLL file for a particle solver using the DLL path that is written in the Configuration XML file.
