13.2. CMM Extension

CMM Extension is another method in order to generate a meta model efficiently for a given component. CMM Extension supports new techniques like sampling method to make random DOE cases and meta model method using neural networks. After configuring DOE cases, a result table is built through DOE simulation using static analysis. When a meta model is created based on result table, PMT files containing meta model information are created by the number of components of reaction force. Then, a PMM file pointing the PMT file name and containing the header information of the meta model is created. PMM file can be used by applying it to Component Group like cmm file.
