42.2.1.1. General Geometry

General Geometry is a function that changes the toolkit body to a rigid body. By using this function, the user can create the geometry required to create a passing body or clone body that can be used in RecurDyn/Linked Assembly.

42.2.1.1.1. Modeling Options

The user can create a general geometry as follows.

  • Solid, Point

    • Solid: Inputs a solid geometry to be copied.

    • Point: Selects a point to define the position of general geometry.

  • Solid, Direction, Angle, Point

    • Solid: Inputs a solid geometry to be copied.

    • Direction: Defines the direction for rotation of general geometry.

    • Angle: Defines the angle for rotation of general geometry.

    • Point: Selects a point to define the position of general geometry.

  • Solid, MultiPoint

    • Solid: Inputs a solid geometry to be copied.

    • Point: Select some points to define the position of some general geometries.

  • Body, Point

    • Body: Inputs a body to be copied.

    • Point: Selects a point to define the position of general geometry.

  • Body, Direction, Angle, Point

    • Body: Inputs a body to be copied.

    • Direction: Defines the direction for rotation of general geometry.

    • Angle: Defines the angle for rotation of general geometry.

    • Point: Selects a point to define the position of general geometry.

  • Body, MultiPoint

    • Body: Inputs a body to be copied.
