41.1.2.3. Use other Tires

SWIFT Tire

To use the SWIFT Tire, the user should set the license for it. For more information to provide the SWIFT Tire license and to set it, contact TNO. If the user completes to install the SWIFT Tire license in the user’s server, the user can register the following environment variable. Then, RecurDyn/Solver runs and checks the SWIFT Tire license.

  • Variable Name

    • 6.1: LSHOST

    • 6.2: MADLIC_LICENSE_FILE

  • Key: Server name or IP address (ex: sever.domain.co.kr or 122.122.122.122)

FTire

To use the FTire of COSIN, the user should set the license and should install the FTIRE program. The install file of the program can be downloaded from the COSIN website and the installation process is as follows. The version of install file is two as 64bit and 32bit and the user has to install the 64bit version.

  • How to install the FTire program of COSIN

    1. Click the setup file. (ex: cosin.2016-2-12895.x86_64.exe )

    2. Select a folder to install the program. (Do not change the location of the folder.)

    3. Input the name of the Start menu. (Do not change the name of the Start menu.)

    4. Change the type of install to All cosin products.

    5. Click Install and then the installation of program is completed.

  • How to configure the License server

    1. Click the cosin on the Start menu of Windows.

    2. Input the license server and the port number (ex:122.122.122.122:89) in the license tab.

    3. Click Apply.

  • Registration of the environment variable

    • Variable Name: COSIN_PREFIX

    • Key: Installation folder of the cosin program (ex: C:Program Files (x86)cosin)
