17.2.1. Vibration Shape Calculation
The user can set the patch set and some parameters for calculating the displacement and the FFT.
Patch Set: Selects some patch sets any flexible (FFlex and/or RFlex) bodies.
Ref. Nodes : Selects three reference nodes in the selected PatchSet. The three reference nodes are used in the reference frame for calculating the Vibration Shape displacements.
Add/Remove : Adds and removes some patch sets.
Add Row : Adds a row for adding a patch set.
Delete Row : Deletes a row for remove a patch set.
Max. Sampling Frequency : is a sampling frequency of the imported animation. (= (End Frame Index – Start Frame Index) / (End Time - Start Time)).
Sampling Frequency : The user can set the sampling frequency which is should be the same or smaller value than the Max. Sampling Frequency. Solver makes the input displacements using linear interpolation for FFT. The default is set to the same value as the Max. Sampling Frequency.
Simulation Time : Selects number of animation frames for the Vibration Shape calculation.
Start Frame and End Frame: Sets start animation frame index and end animation frame index with a slider control.
Time: Shows simulation time each selected the Strat Frame and End Frame.
Frame: Sets frame number. (A natural number is available.)
Base Directory: Shows the base directory which has animation data and target directory for generating results files. Vibration Shape toolkit generates following file.
*.VSD file: has the displacements and FFT data (raw data).
Base Name: Sets result name. The Base Name is a model name.
