27.3.2. Assembly Information
The assembly information contains all information of a track chain system, that is, contact parameters, bushing characteristics, track link body-to-sphere contact, and force output information. The bodies which are in contact with track links can be added or deleted from this dialog in Passing Body List page. Force output for each link can be defined in Output page.
The Assembly Information property page is shown in Figure 27.54. The parameters are explained below.
Pressure-Sinkage: If it is checked, Contact Parameter between the ground and track link shoe pad is changed as soil conditions.
Contact Parameter: Defines characteristic values to contact between the ground and track link shoe.
If Pressure-Sinkage option is checked, the contact parameters for Soil Ground. Refer to Contact Parameter between Soil Ground and Shoe.
If Pressure-Sinkage options is not checked, the contact parameters for Rigid Ground. Refer to Contact Parameter between Ground and Shoe.
Bushing Force: Defines characteristic values to connect between two links. For more information, click here.
Copy Data: For more than two track chain system, the user can easily apply same characteristics to another track chain system.
Sphere Contact: Defines contact entities between a sphere and links. Refer to Contact between Sphere and Shoe Pad.
Number of Links: Shows the number of links.
