2.2.2.1.1. RecurDyn Files

  • RecurDyn Animation Data File (*.rad): The user can import the animation frame results from the rad file, which is created when the analysis is carried out.

  • RecurDyn Subsystem File (*.rdsb): The user can import a Filename.rdsb file that is exported from RecurDyn. The imported subsystem is independent from the subsystem file itself. Therefore, you can import from the same subsystem file several times in order to create several subsystems.

  • RecurDyn Body File (*.rdbd): The user can import a Filename.rdbd file that is exported from RecurDyn. This file contains a body from a model.

  • RecurDyn Road File (*.rdf): The user can import a Filename.rdf file that is exported from RecurDyn. This file contains a road data that is created in Ground Mode. If the user wants to see how to make, click here.

  • RecurDyn Solver-Generated Animation File (*.ran): The user can import the animation frame results from the ran file, which is created when the analysis is carried out. This file is used instead of the rad file in the case of Standalone Solver because the rad file is generated in GUI. This file has similar information with the rad file for the animation data. In the case of FFlex/RFlex, the rfa file (Displacement data for Flexible) is created when import the ran file.

  • RecurDyn Design Parameter File (*.rdp)

  • RecurDyn SDK File(*.sdk): The user can import a Filename.sdk, which is generated in NX.
