11.1.2.8. Method: RFLEX to RFLEX

If a RFlex body is selected as a source body for G-Manager, Rigid, FFlex, and RFlex body can be converted. When the target body is RFlex body, two methods are supported to convert Rigid body.

11.1.2.8.1. (14) RFlex : Swap using RFlexGen

When the target body is RFlex body, if the user wants to swap with a RFI file created by using RecurDyn/RFlexGen. Swap using RFlexGen type can be used.

  • Target Converting Body: Select a target body type. In this case, please select RFlex.

  • Type: Select a method how to change from RFlex to RFlex. In this case, please select Swap using RFlexGen.

  • Options

    • Output RFI File Path: Define a path of the file that is used in RFlexGen.

    • RFI File Path: Define a path of the file that is used to swap.

    • Reference: Define a reference frame that is used to swap.

  • RFlexGen

    • Output RFI File Path: Define a path of the file that is used in RFlexGen.

    • Reference: Define a reference frame that is used to swap.

    • RFlexGen: RFlexGen of G-Manager is different to existing RFlexGen. Before running the RFlexGen, pre-defined Output RFI File Path and Reference are used in RFlexGen. So, some values are set in RFlexGen dialog and the user cannot change the values. For more information about RFlexGen, click here.

  • Assist Modeling: some items can be maintained after converting process.

    • Name: Maintains the name of source body.

    • Initial Velocity: Maintains the initial velocity of source body.

    • Joint: Maintains Joint entities related to the source body.

    • Force: Maintains Force entities related to the source body.

    • Geo Contact: Maintains Geo Contact entity related to the source body. Other Contact entities are not supported.

11.1.2.8.2. (15) RFlex : Swap using RFI File

When the target body is RFlex body, if the user wants to swap with a RFI file, Swap using RFI File type can be used.
