41.1.2. GTire(Generic Tire)

The GTire (Generic Tire) entity is a GUI entity to improve the convenience and the compatibility of the tire modeling and to provide the consistency of the use method. The user can create the UATire model, the MF & Swift Tire model, and the FTire model by the GTire entity.

RecurDyn has each entity for these tire models because the tire models have various mathematical models from the use and the design method. The GTire combines each entity into one and provides the flexibility of modeling by managing the model with the tire property file. The update of solver and various functions by the integration modeling environment of GTire can provided later.

• Using various tire models (UATire, MF & Swift Tire, FTire) by the single entity

• Connecting the tire model and the road model by the GRoad entity

• Unitized GUI environment (Enabled to modify several entities)

• Using the tire file format (.tir) by the standard tire interface of the parametric tire model
