47.3.3. Simulation Control

During a simulation using RecurDyn Standalone Solver, the simulation state can be controlled by some special files.

• Stop: If there is a recurdyn.stop file in a directory where the rmd file is saved, the simulation is stopped.

• Pause: If there is a recurdyn.pause file in a directory where the rmd file is saved, the simulation is paused.

• Resume: If there is a recurdyn.resume file in a directory where the rmd file is saved, the simulation is resumed.

Note

If the recurdyn.pause file is with recurdyn.resume file in the same directory, the recurdyn.pause file does not work because the priority of recurdyn.resume file is higher than the recurdyn.pause file.
