28.4.2. Assembly Information
The assembly information contains all information of track chain system, including contact parameters, bushing characteristics, grouser-to-sphere contact, and force output information. The bodies which are in contact with track links can be added or deleted from this dialog in Characteristics 2 page. Force output for each link can be defined in Output page.
The Assembly Information property page is shown in Figure 28.87. The parameters are explained below.
Pressure-Sinkage: If it is checked, Contact Parameter between the ground and track link shoe pad is changed as soil conditions.
Contact Parameter: Defines characteristic values to contact between the ground and track link shoe.
If Pressure-Sinkage option is checked, the contact parameters for Soil Ground. Refer to Contact Parameter between Soil Ground and Grouser.
If Pressure-Sinkage options is not checked, the contact parameters for Rigid Ground. Refer to Contact Parameter between Ground and Grouser.
Bushing Force: Defines characteristic values to connect between two links. For more information, click here.
Grouser contact: Defines Grouser Contact between grousers as Sphere to Sphere contact. Refer to Grouser Contact.
Copy Data: For more than two track chain system, the user can easily apply same characteristics to another track chain system.
